My last name is hard to pronounce so I tell people to forget it and call me Dave. Those are names I respond to if you dont call me one of those and I know you then I wont answer. If I dont know you well I WILL correct you because that name is who I am. I put a lot of time and hard work making that name a name I am proud to have. When my friends hear that they think loyal, friendly, helpful, curtious, cheerful, brave, and patriotic. they hear john and they might think of some jerk in High school. I get the wrong perscriptions, the police officer who pulled her over got us confused. People are always like I know your dad and its her dad not mine! It gets kind of hectic! But I don't even correct people anymore...its kind of fun to play along!
