He should absolutely stay home to watch the Super Bowl…Nicole, this is an age old problem, men think women try to force female issues on them all the time, it’s the mars vs. venus thing….football, testosterone…GUY THING…doesn’t matter if it’s your team. Let this one go, it’s unreasonable to ask him to deny genetics….he’s a dude, that’s all there is to it. It’s not about love, it’s about “guy stuff”…don’t take it personally.

What’s dad thinking. I don’t give a damn about football but it’s like the one of biggest sports event and even I watch it. Ok just for the commercials but hey sometimes it’s a good game. He gets to stay home and watch the game. She’s a big girl and can have family time.

Come on. It’s the SuperBowl! One game of the season that can’t be missed if you are a football fan. DVR is not an option because it’s not the same as being in the moment. Change flight times or something but don’t ask a guy to miss the Superbowl.

It sounds like Nicoles boyfriend is a sports nut. She was aware of this when she met him. If she really loves him I think she would feel guilty making him miss something that he probably watches every year. Plus she should just ask him how he feels about it.
