I imagine they are in lust – not love. Both of their careers do not lead to very good mariages to begin with, let alone in days. Why do they think they have to get married? They are young and have years to get married!

There is noooo way u can possibly know someone enough to get married after a few weeks. There’s a period what I call the polite period where u may act a little nicer, and just not yourself. You need to be with someone long enough to act completely comfortable before you engage in a life-long commitment.maybe if people got to completely know each other before getting married, the divorce rate would go down.

my husband and i met in aug and were married in nov of the same year. this nov will be our 12 yes twelve year anniversarie. we are due with our 6th child in 2.5 weeks. sorry for bad punct on my cell. all marraiges take work no matter how long you dated. there are good and bad times. you just have to stay open to eachother and work through it. i wish them a long and happy marraige.

Well, my EX and I decided that we were the ones for each other after about 3 weeks. We waited a year to get engaged, and another year to get married to make sure this is who we really wanted to be with. Well, 8 years and 4 awesome kids later, he decided he needed his “freedom” and took up with an older woman who’s kids are grown and out of the house. So I don’t think it is the lenght of time you date. It will either work, or it won’t.

It depends on the people and the motivations, I knew my wife for a total of 9 days before we got married in 1989. I knew somehow she was the one and she felt the same. We are still happily married today over 20 years and 3 kids later.

my girlfriend and i moved in after knowing eachother for only 3 weeks and noe things are going as good as they can get going on 4 months now and not even looking back or regreting the decission

I know a couple who got married after dating for 5 days! No I am not lying! It was 5 days. 30+ years later they are still going strong. Although I would not recommend this. I dated my husband for 6 months before we got engaged, but waited 8 more months to get married. I really do not believe that the length of time has anything to do with it. I also know a couple who dated 8 years and were only married 2 years before they divorced. So see, you can judge a strong relationship based on time!
