The Morning Mash Up was sitting around talking yesterday and Ryan mentioned that he just recently checked his mail for the first time in months because he knew he was getting cards for his birthday. When Stan asked Ryan why it had been so long since he checked his mail, Ryan told it’s because he never checks it. Stan couldn’ t believe it. How does he not check his mail?
What about bills or notices or letters containing important information? Ryan says he has his bills on auto-pay and he gets nothing in the mail but junk, so why check it. Rich is in the same boat as Ryan. Nicole leans on her boyfriend for checking the mail. Surprised?
While Ryan, Nicole and Rich rarely check their mail Stan says there is no way he could not check it. Between notices on his finances, bills, information from his kids’ school, and other stuff, he has to look at his mail. He thinks the others are making a bad decision not to check what they get. Do you check your mail regularly, or at all, anymore?

There is usually nothing important in the mail, but almost every month, my rich step-grand parents send me a $100 check so I have to check the mail every so often.
The mail is for netflix and junk, even my daughter’s school emails notices, when pertinent.
My stepdad actually only checks the mail once a month as well just to pay bills. We have a family bussiness and we receive our mail in a po box. We’ve gotten soooo much mail before that the post office left a note saying we have ANOTHER box in the back for you cause they weren’t able to fit it all! Haha
Working for the post office I see on a daily basis how important it is to get mail. Now I agree that most transactions can take place over the net I mean I’m writing this now instead of using a stamp. There are things that I would prefer to receive in the mail it’s nice to think that someone took the time to write out Something by hand. All this being said the USPS is moving toward a package based bussiness look at the if it fits it ships slogan. I think there will be. Place for mail coming to your mail box for quite some time
Please check your mail at least once at week!!! I am a mail carrier and I’m told by my supervisor any mail that isn’t checked within 10 days that persons mail gets return to sender. You may not think people use the postal service anyone but you would be wrong. All those people who have the old outdated flip phones are our best customers. Lol
I think you should contact the people that send you the mail. There is a “do not send” junk mail list similar to the do not call list… and your creditors (mortgage, insurance, etc) most if not all offer paperless services where you NEVER get a paper bill unless you request one. Instead of ignoring it, handle it… get rid of the paper mail before it gets to you.
