Is It Vain To Size Up Your Potential Mates Genetics?

There was an article out recently about a sperm bank that allows people to choose from donors that supposedly look like celebrities. Rich says that clearly these people are obsessed with these celebrities to choose look-a-likes as sperm donors, and they also feel they’re kids will come out looking like that celebrity. Everybody hopes for good looking kids, but Rich wonders as you’re sizing up a potential mate, is it vain and wrong to think about what you’re kids would like and what they will look like in 20 years?

Stanley T thinks it’s natural to wonder about that. He sized up his wife to make sure that she would physically be able to carry children. Nicole thinks it’s slightly vein to think about what the person will look like. It’s not like anyone is going to stay a spring chicken forever. Nicole can see judging how children would look though. Ryan is guilty of thinking the same thing as well. He always takes a look at a girls mom to see what the aging process is going to look like.

Have you caught yourself doing this to your potential future mate? Is it vain and wrong to judge a potential mate by what you think they’ll look like in 20 years, and what your kids would look like?
