Nicole’s boyfriend Matt gets very irritated at her for one simple thing that she doesn’t do. Whenever they say goodbye & walk away from each other, Matt always looks back once but Nicole never looks back. It gets him really upset. Every time he looks back hoping to catch her looking back at him and it never happens.
Nicole says it just something she doesn’t do. Stan and Rich thinks it shows that she’s selfish. They and their significant others always catch one more glance at each other before they walk away.
Do you think Nicole is selfish for not looking back or are the guys making a waaay bigger deal of this than it is?

OK, if it was a guy a girl was complaining about then it would be said “he just not that into you”. So does that mean Nicole is Just not that into to him? Really it’s not that big of a deal. Nicole… if THAT makes him happy or would make his day…DO IT! It’s a pretty easy request to make your man happy, does it make your neck hurt or something? HA!
No, it doesnt mean you are selfish. Most men don’t care, nor do they notice. Since he’s made a complaint, I’d try to attempt it a few times. All relationships are give and take, and evidently the loockback means something to him. Give it a try, you never know, you might enjoy “looking back”
I’m with Nicole. It’s more of a man thing to look back to make sure their girl is safe. I don’t think you are being selfish, just being who you are. If you don’t feel it’s important, then don’t feel compelled to look back!
I’ve been married almost 3 years, my husband and I both do the look back. It lets me get one last glimpse before I don’t see him for a while. He feels the same way. If that’s what your boyfriend wants, you should do it! It’s not that big of a deal. He’s not asking you to kill someone for him. If that’s the worst thing he asks of you for the day, I would consider that a pretty good day.
I dont think its cheesy at all, each person shows there affection in different ways and for me I love to give that one last glance back and when I do I notice im getting the same glance back with that twinkle in his eye…. so you know the love is there, it may be a very small gesture but its worth a thousand words and a very warm feeling.
Nicole isnt wrong or right each person shows there feelings in different ways.
I was listening to you guys talk about this on my ride to the post office this morning and was feeling sorry for Nicole. I too have the same feelings you do on this issue. I hardly ever turn back around and say goodbye again after I have already said goodbye. I wouldn’t call it selfish…I just have things to do and I’m onto my next mission. Hang in there Nicole, I have your back!
I don’t know if it’s just that I’ve never done the look back or known any one who has admitted to it, but I don’t see why this is a big deal at all. Maybe she could do it a couple times since she knows her boyfriend likes it but other than that I don’t get it.
Maybe when I was a teen and in young love/lust I did the look back but now life is busy. Maybe we should all take time to do the look back, life is short!

I think it’s much more important to men for some strange reason. I also think it’s childish and a waste of time…. I love you, I love you more, no I do.!!!!
