When I went on maternity leave I fully expected to loose my clientele. It was a nice surprise to have returning clients but I did but fault those that left!

Just keep going to the dude. Be friendly to the girl, ask how the baby is or whatever, but don’t even act like anything’s odd. Although Kandis is right, she probably knows now…

I work in a salon and we know that if we go on leave for any reason we may lose clients it is just part of our work, she will understand that you perfer the male hairdresser over her and if for some reason you can’t get in with him on the day you can go back to her really it is no big deal …….you are paying for the cut and it should be exactly how you want it

Just ask her if she thinks that she could cut your hair the way that the other guy did, that you really liked it……if not ask if it would upset her if he started going to the other guy.

Agreed. If she’s professional, she will understand. And if she gets mad, then why go to her anyway, if she is petty like that! Surely she has enough clients to understand your position.
