Grocery Shopping: Total Awesomeness Or Bain Of Your Existence?

Grocery Shopping: Total Awesomeness Or Bain Of Your Existence?

Ryan went grocery shopping last night and has to admit, he really enjoys it. He’s heard a lot of people complain about how much they hate it and how big of a pain it is but he likes to go grocery shopping. Nicole agrees. She doesn’t mind it at all. It’s a project that she finds to be fun.

Rich and Stanley T on the other hand, are not huge fans. Rich doesn’t like it and he says he has no need for it because he’d rather eat out every night than shop and plan for the week, and then cook every night. Stanley T isn’t a huge fan of going to the supermarket either. Then again, Stanley T doesn’t even know what he likes to eat for breakfast, so trying to imagine him deciding what he wants to buy at a supermarket is a little tough. They’d both rather use that time for something else, or to just relax.

Going grocery shopping is something everyone has to do, but when it comes time for it, do you love it or hate it?

I enjoy it. I wouldn’t say I love it but I like grocery shopping. I get to go by myself and take all the time I need while I’m there. I like to check out for specials, deals or some savings. If I’m going to be spending $150+ on food, you better believe that I’m going to enjoy it! I’m usually gone for 1.5 hr at the most but I can definitely get the job done without my boyfriend begging to leave (because he hates the supermarket crowds).

Grocery Shopping! Ha! There are two ways of looking at this. Some people love and some hate it. I love it and I hate it. Love it if I’m the only one shopping besides with my 1 yr old daughter. I can go in get what I need and go out. I love to cook and always coming up with wild ideas. But I also hate it. I hate having to go with my mom or another family member (Besides my dad and brother who perfer to only stay for about five mins) If I’m with my mom or another family member, They take FOREVER! I don’t like spending 3-4 hours in one place. Can’t do it.

I love grocery shopping. It’s a relaxing time and I go in with a list in hand and a time limit.
Of course, grocery shopping down in the states is AWESOME! We have a blast grocery shopping down in the states cause of all the sugary crap you can find on the shelves! We don’t have 1/2 of that stuff up in Canada. So, it’s a double treat once we cross the border!

When I was single, I use to hate grocery shopping. Now that I’m a mother of 2 young girls, I LOVE grocery shopping since its the only hour of peace I get some weeks. I take my sweet time especially when I know my husband is at home watching them! : )

I love to go grocery shopping. Nothing beats getting out of work at 6am and going to an empty 24/7 grocery store and having the whole place to yourself! AND NO SCREAMING FRIGGIN BABIES

I never used to mind going grocery shopping. I used to work at a grocery store, so I knew where everything was, it made it easy. Now when I go shopping and only go in for a few items I find myself wondering around the aisles trying to find where they hide the peanut better or understand why they don’t put all of the rice in the same section….That’s one that I’ve never understood…do you really need to have an international section where they keep 98% of the beans yet the 2% that you’re looking for are in an aisle with the ketchup?
