There have been a few big names getting in some major trouble recently for affairs. First, there’s the ESPN baseball analyst, Stee Phillips, who was fired from his job just the other day because of his affair with a staffer. Then there’s David Letterman, who came clean about his affair because the woman’s boyfriend tried to extort him. We have to give it to Dave, it was a smart move to fess up before the extortion was revealed instead of having the story break and him looking like he was trying to cover it up.
Granted, most of us don’t have to worry about the media if we were to ever get into this kind of situation. But having to fess up to what we did is scary nonetheless. If someone was trying to extort you, what would you do? Nicole admits that she if she had the means, she would probably try and make it go away. Stan thinks that a bad idea because once you pay, they’ve got you hooked and are going to keep coming back, plus, you give the person extorting you a lot of power. It’s just better to fess up. Ryan agrees with Stan. Rich isn’t too sure. There are probably a lot of celebrities that we don’t know have been extorted because they paid and then were left alone. Would you fess up and admit what you did? Or would you pay and try to keep it covered up?

I would rather not get in trouble to begin with but if something did happen I would admit it rather than lie.Covering it up is so much worse
