After Thanksgiving in Nashville, TN, I wanted to go see my girlfriend in Indianapolis, IN. I told my parents I was going back to Memphis, TN and I told my boss that my grand mother collapsed at church and was in the hospital. I think they thought something was fishy because they called my parents and left a message that they wanted to send flowers. I didn’t find out until my Tuesday call-in that my boss did this. So I instantly called my parents to try to explain that I had an interview in Indianapolis and HAD TO LIE! They told me that they emailed me at work wondering about Indianapolis! I knew I was busted! I was fired the following Monday! I was with the company for 6 years but they despise liars! It was stupid and AWFUL at the time! But, HEY, now I live in Indianapolis with my girlfriend and have a great new job.
