Not much info for you guys, but it does give some indication. As a former DirecTV employee, I can say that they are trying to cut costs anywhere they can…so I can only assume that this company gave them a better deal for similar programming. I have a seperate XM subscription along with my DTV so it doesn’t affect me, but I am sure lots of people are upset about it.
You can still get the Sirius/XM programming with Dish Network.
Liberty Media has a 40% stake in Sirius/XM making the change even more strange.
First they took out the XM djs, then when I finally got used to listening to the Sirius XM djs, they do this. I listened to the 50s on 5, now they have malt shop oldies, mixing 50s music with mid-60s music – wtf?
Can’t stand the new channels on Sonic!! DirecTv shouldn’t have done that. I’m much more loyal to my music than my tv shows. Tv shows come and go, but Rock n’ Roll is 4ever!
im so mad!! i love the morning mash up!! its the only good thing in my morings!! i demand to hear my favorite stations!! i love u guys…. sending my love and saddness!
