Why do men do this I ask? Twice in the last year my husband has actually run out of gas doing this. Then he calls his maintenance guy to come meet him and bring him gas. Of course he never told me this, but the maintenance guy at work slipped one day and spilled the info to me. You can bet that I will never let him live it down. Don’t you worry that a gas station won’t be nearby?
If I ever get bored enough, I’d be tempted to drive around Long Island going from gas station to gas station and only getting enough gas to get me to the next town. And if that ever does happen, you can bet I’ll let ya know.
