Stanley was watching Scarface with his wife and she kept going on about how the scar on Tony Orlando’s, aka Al Pacino’s, face was so sexy and bad ass looking. Stan totally disagreed with her. He thinks most people are kind of turned off by scars. And the people seem like more often than not, they want to cover them up or get rid of them.
Rich has a scar on his forehead that he hates. He’s seriously considered plastic surgery to get rid of it. Nicole feels the same way about the scars on her legs. She hates them and even tries to cover them up with make up when she wears skirts or dresses.
Ryan has a scar on his stomach from getting his pancreas out and although the scar is pretty bad looking, he likes to make up a cool story to account for the scar so people are intrigued by it.
How do you feel about scars? Do you have scars and do you hate them or love them? When you see someone else with a scar, do you think it looks bad ass or ugly?

Sometimes they can be badass. For me they are reminders of events in my life. When I fell ice skating, where they put the IV when I gave birth to my son, the time I accidentally stabbed myself with a steak knife and so on. So I suppose if it reminds you of something you’d rather forget then you would want to get rid of it.
I was listening to you guys on my way home from dropping kids off at school. I agree that scars CAN be badass and super sexy. I don’t think you should be embarrassed of them. They all tell a story. Of course, I hae scars from my childhood. I was very (VERY) accident-prone growing up. So instead of telling others that I was just a clutz as a child, I tell cool stories for them. Try to anyway – lol. People are intrigued. But sometimes, the truth can make the scar sexy. I have a large one on my stomach (I think it’s very unattractive). I got it from have a cancerous tumor remove. Everytime I tell the story for that scar, guys tell me how “hot” it looks. wierd
I think it’s all in how your attitude is towards it – I have a small scar on my face, but I don’t let it bother me. If people ask, which they hardly do, I tell them the why behind it, but I’m not going to walk around going ‘ooh look how bad-ass I am just cuz I got a scar!”
