Rich Davis is officially obsessed, dare we say enamored, with the show For The Love of Ray J. In the latest episode he watched he learned the phrase “smashed the homie,” meaning that someone you’re dating has previously slept with one of your friends. In most cases the girl has “smashed the homie.” Rich doesn’t understand how anyone can date someone that one of their friends slept with. It’s not even that it feels wrong – it feels kind of gross.
Nicole has to admit she’s smashed homies before and it definitely felt odd knowing her friend knew her guy intimately as well, or the other way around. Ryan has never smashed homies, but that’s because Ryan has very specific taste. Have you ever smashed homies? Do you think it’s weird or does dating someone your friend slept with not bother you? has it ever become a problem?

hell yeah, this way you’ve got the inside 411 on if they are any good and what they will or wont do! lmao!
I went to a smaller college and it was a common practice. I have plenty of stories about friends that could easily rival 90210, I’m talking roommates who have “smashed the homie” and vice versa, friends from home who would come up and hook up with different girls who were friends, etc. There was the occassional drama but for the most part people really didn’t seem to mind. Before I was aware of this, I invited a this guy to a sorority event only to find out that one of the older sisters used to date him. I was a youngin and didn’t want to get my ass kicked at the party so I did the decent thing and called her to see if that was ok, tellin her I could uninvite him if it would be weird. Her response was “Dude, that was forever ago.” She couldn’t have been more cool about it.
Because of all of these events, I really don’t see the problem so long as the other person doesn’t mind.
But maybe my mentality is slightly warped
Yeah but that was after I found out my ex-boyfriend had cheated on me.
I did it once. Never again. Period.
I would hook up with someone that hooked up with a buddy of mine, but would NEEEVVVEERRR date em……and i think that’s the majority of men’s mentality
