What Wouldn’t You Substitute In Your Diet?

picture-1

There are things that we won’t sacrifice because we’ve eaten them out of habit for years. Lots of people won’t substitude margarine for butter in their diet, or frozen yogurt for ice cream, or diet soda for regular soda. Stanley T’s exception is milk. He got into a bit of an argument with his wife Sara over the weekend. They’ve been married for over 10 years and, as we all know, Stan is a creature of habit. His wife brough home 2% milk (blue capped), as opposed to Stan’s preference of whole milk (red capped). Normally Stan is an incredibly quiet and patient man but unfortunately he raised his voice, had it out with wifey, and even freaked his kids out a little bit. All this over what kind of milk he likes. Eventually, Stan’s wife made him cookies with milk, strategically substituting 2% milk for what Stan thought was whole milk. She then broke the news to him and Stan felt like an ass. He couldn’t tell the difference between the 2% and whole milk whatsoever. He apologized to his wife and kids, although he still would like his eating habits respected because after a long work week a man just wants his red capped milk! What eating habit or preference is something that you can absolutely not have messed with or you end up diapointed like Stan?

That diet stuff will kill you! Diet soda and artificial sweetners are cancer waiting to happen! I can’t live without regular Pepsi or Mayo..Same with Salad Dressing it needs to be the real stuff! Eat in moderation people and you can have full fat and natural food.

I can’t stand the generic cereal. I know they say up in the corner “Try Me! I taste just like (insert name of good cereal here)!” NO! Don’t try it! It doesn’t taste like the cereal at all! It’s BAD! If you’re gonna bother to buy that cereal you might as well use Blue Cap milk to top off the suckage…

I have to eat certain meals that my mom cooks, with a fork, if she kindly hands me spoon- silverware with our family meal, i give her a scrunched face look and let her know i want a FORK! , maybe im weird. Oh and i REFUSE to drink Diet pop. (people say “soda”)

I have a few quirks….CHEETOS….no off brands, no Old Dutch, nothing else. Cheeto brand only…also, Hellmans Mayo. Regular. I can’t stand all the low fat stuff out there. If you are going to eat Mayo, you really can’t be THAT worried about calories in the first place! Oh, and NOOO Walmart meat. Yuck. We live in a small town and there aren’t many options, but Walmart meat and produce are aweful!

DO NOT MAKE ME EAT LOW FAT OR FAT FREE CHEESE OF ANY KIND!

I used to make this chocolate pie with cream cheese in it for a cheese cake like flavor. It really is delicious. Anyway, I was dating this guy at the time who was the pickest ever (I’m not exaggerating)! He said he hated cream cheese and even ask me if I was going to put cream cheese in the pie. Of course I said no. He ate the pie and LOVED it! He would ask me to make it all the time. Eventually he caught me putting the cream cheese in the pie, and from that day on he stopped eating it! Ridiculous!

I think this is on point but it doesn’t really answer the exact question. I can’t stand it when my wife puts bread in the fridge. It is not like we won’t go through a loaf in a week (before it goes bad), and I like the smell of bread when you open the bag. When you put it in the fridge you don’t get that.
