Rich Davis is obsessed with the movie Blind Side, starring Sandra Bullock. He’s so obsessed he’s seen it multiple times just so he could take other people to see how awesome it was. The rest of the country has been catching on too. So much so, that it beat Twilight New Moon last week! Rich, Nicole, Stan and Ryan then started wondering, “what other movies based on a true story are awesome?” We’re talking 100% based on a true story, not Titanic, where the only part that is factual is the ship sinking. I have to agree with Rich.. Blind Side was a phenomenal movie. I would see it in the theater again, which is rare for me. I also liked Jarhead and Men of Honor. 21 was good too, although the book was a lot better than the movie.
i think the best movie based on real life was the arrow.
Rudy is the best ever.
I’ll be honest, went to it with my girlfriend thinking it was a chick flick. I hadn’t heard of it at all. Turned out to be a phenomenal movie! Its not a “omg you gotta see this right now” movie but you do have to see it sometime!
mine is THE SCHINDLER’S LIST, i think is the best!
I despise Sandra Bullock for some reason but I have seen The Blind Side twice so far … and would go see it again. I’ll agree with Kris and say Jarhead was damn good as well.
I think blackhawk down was a great movie based on an actual event I will go see the blind side though
We Are Marshall
to me Into The Wild was the best, and Radio
I have to agree with Radio. Having seen Radio in person and being in town for the filming, it seems even more realistic to me when I watch the movie.
Radio hands down – which I was planning to say before I read the above comments
A good one in my opinion is Gridiron Gang
The remake of Walking Tall was remade from a movie based on the life on a real person
I really liked Remember the Titans! I also agree with Karla- Schindler’s List
Sergeant York…by far. It is an OLD black and white movie. That was my Dad’s favorite movie of all time.
Definance… It’s the movie about the Jews who fight back against the Nazis.
Oh yeah…let’s not forget Wind Talkers!
