Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Review

Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Yesterday, Stanley T and I went to a late afternoon showing of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. For some reason or another almost every critic is taking a big dump on this movie. We’re not quite sure what they were expecting or what movie they were even watching! We got there 45 minutes early and the theater was nearly full already, which shows how much weight these old school movie review people hold.

For the entire 2 1/2 hours the theater was rocking. People cheered for, and we’re really invested in the characters of the film, Stan and I included. The battles were epic, the story was fun, and the acting was NOT bad. Again, what are these critics expecting? It’s a lot of intense talk, screaming, running, fighting, and it was very believable. Most, if not all, of the cast did their own stunts because of how many camera angles are used in the film. I’d be scared as hell if all this stuff was exploding around me too!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is simply, as Stan and I like to put it, “pure awesome on crack.” You will sit down and get what you expected and more. Freakin’ awesome robot battles that are huge in scale, Megan Fox being ridiculously hot (her acting was NOT bad), Shia being dorky and nervous (his acting also NOT bad), and some really funny comedy from human and Autobots alike!

Do yourself a favor and just go see the movie already. You’ll thank Stan and I. We’re both going to see it again in real IMAX, and no, not the fake IMAX. Also, please post your reviews below! We would love to hear what you guys thought, and prove those crackpot critics wrong!

I went to the midnight showing of Transformers 2, and in our small town we had 2 full theaters with people watching. To me, that says A LOT. I absolutely loved the movie and thought it had a great new storyline. I thought the acting was good, the action was amazing, and I was never bored with any part of it. Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. Better than the first in my opinion.

So I absolutely agree with you!! I am a huge fan of the first Transformers movie, I have seen it too many time to count. I was so excited to see the movie yesterday, I looked online at the reviews and to be honest I was nervous, I almost told my husband lets just go another night. I was thinking that I was going to be disappointed after reading what some of the critics wrote.
So now that I have seen the movie and thinking back on the reviews that I read they are out of their mind. The movie was amazing , if you liked the first one you will love the second one, this one had more jokes, way more action scenes, and please don’t get me started on the cars. I think that the critics were at the wrong movie because this was awesome and yes I am going to see it again!! Five Stars all the way!!

The movie was AWESOME! I have no idea what the critics are talking about! I can say the critics usually love movies I have never heard of that I end up seeing on DVD 6 months later. I say give the director a break. He did an outstanding job and the transformers themselves were incredible. 5 STARS BABY!!!!!

I totally agree, I really enjoyed the movie. The theater I went to was showing the movie in 2 theaters and they were both packed to the max, when I tried to get a tickets. I think we know who the true critics are….. it was AWESOME!

I went to see the movie last night after finally getting tickets. It has been sold out sense it has come out. It was a very very good movie. I found some parts a little slow at times but I think thats because I had very high expetations for this movie. Other then that it kicked ass and I am probably going to go see it again.

i enjoyed the movie tremendously, as well. one thing i’ve learned is not to trust the critics’ opinions. it feels great that a movie that they trashed has set some blockbuster records. also, half the academy award nominations are movies that aren’t even entertaining. the judges are composd of wanna-be “artists” and it’s about time that some of them were replaced with judges who can appreciate an entertaining movie. a winning movie doesn’t have to change your life perspective; it only has to entertain.
