Elin: Yes, I’m Taking Half. Tiger: Half What?
Rich and Stan got into it with Nicole and Ryan over what the settlement with Tiger Woods and his wife would be if they got divorced. Nicole clearly thinks Tigers wife, Elin, deserves to get half of his money. While Nicole basis it as retribution for what Tiger did, Ryan believes that is what you get yourself into when you get married. Whether you cheat once, twice, or 19 times, you pretty much end up giving your wife or husband half your money.
While Rich and Stan agree that Elin should gain things in the divorce settlement they do not agree that she should get half of Tiger’s money. In this case it’s something ridiculous, like $300 million dollars. Tiger has earned a lot of that before he was married, and more importantly through his own hard work. Rich and Stan think she should definitely get millions, but not hundreds of millions.
As Rich would say, two wrongs (taking money out of spite) do not make a right. While it is an excess amount of money regardless, it is ridiculous that she get an excess amount that will more than facilitate the rest of her life.

It doesn’t matter what the case is. Whether a guy or girl cheats. If you can’t be honest you deserve to pay. If you’re not happy anymore simply get yourself out of that situation before you end up paying the big bucks !!!
$300 million won’t hamper Tiger’s lifestyle at all…it’s like me paying out $10,000…life goes on, he’ll make more money!
I agree. she deserves money. but 300 mill. Deffenetly not. I no he’s famous. and he cheeted on her. But no one should have to give up 300 mill for someone they cheeted on. I do think she should get enough money to live comfortably with the kids though.
No one deserves 3 mil – but since Tiger screwed up he will have to pay. She likely gave a lot up to support his career; not to mention the public humiliation of her cheating husband who always said he was a family man and family came first.
I agree with Nicole and Ryan. Tiger has totally humiliated his wife and kids. She was there for him while he totally abused her trust. Not only did he humiliate his wife but can you imagine what this doing to his mother; she’s reliving the humiliation from his father
No way does she deserve that much money! Shit happens, he made the money! If she wants more money go work for it! I have a kid and I work, come on! How hard is it to stay home and watch kids! Its not like he won’t take care of his kids! Why should she get 1/2!! Give it up, that’s wrong!
No one need 300 million…let tiger keep his money. She didnt make millions, tiger did its his money so he should get to keep it. She can suck it up and get a job, shes a big girl
Obviously he wasn’t getting what he needed from his wife. So the guy likes sex, so what!! His wife doesn’t deserve half of what he has. People make mistakes but they all aren’t under a microscope like he is. Disgusting the way the media has portrayed one of the world’s best athletes!
She derserves to be able to maintain the same lifestyle as she was accostomed to and provide the same lifestyle for her children as Tiger can.
I think he should pay! Look what he has put that poor girl & their children through! All the lies & imbarassment. If your not happy remove yourself from the situation! I think she deserves half of whatever he made WHILE they were married, and not a penny of what he made before hand.
I think she deserves that money BUT she deserves it for having to go through what she is going through in the public eye. She is being humiliated infront of all her family and friends and tiger doesnt seem to care.
Elin signed a pre nuptual agreement agreeing to 20 million if the marriage lasted 10 years. She’s not entitiled to anything else except child support. What Tiger did was wrong but she entered the marriage knowing their very unequal financial situations.

Tiger Woods was famous and rich before meeting Elin. She was merely just a housekeeper who either fell in love with Tiger, or fell in love with his money. She hasn’t contributed to his success as she has kept a private life taking care of the kids. For this reason, she should get custody of the children and a 5 million dollar payout for finances. Tiger Woods has a Prenup so she will NOT be getting 300 million dollars my friends and for those who says she deserves it, are just plain greedy and stupid. Tiger Woods didn’t even build his reputation completely by himself, his father is the one who really got him out there as a child. This occurred WAY before he met Elin. Sorry Elin, but gold diggers aren’t needed in todays economic crisis. She can go back to being a housekeeper if she wishes or live off the 5 million as she has stated she doesn’t like being in the spotlight and just wanted to live a modest life. We blamed Chris brown for beating up Rihanna, but when Elin uses a golf club to Tiger, we put her as a victim. Equality my friends. Why is it that women are 5 times less likely to be put to death then men? It’s about time we started have fair and equal rights.

Your kidding right? Elin went from making around 45,000 per year, to marrying one of the most successful athletes in the world. Yet, she always wanted to stay out of the public eye, and had trouble adjusting. Tiger has always been in the public eye since age 3. She didn’t want to go on the road with him or be seen at local establishments with him. Tiger couldn’t relate to this, and being alone on the road must have caused a rift. Now granted, he had been cheating since the start of his marriage with one gal, but it can’t be entirely his fault. She has to take some blame as marriage is a two way street and if someone goes and cheats, then theres more to blame then just the offender. So he cheated with over 10 women, and she didnt know? He would text them and such, and she never read the bills? Was the marriage that bad that she had no idea? Personally, as a expert in the criminal justice field, I am worried to leave the two children with her as she obviously can be violent. What are the damages of the divorce going to end up leaving on her, her emotional state, and her kids? It’s obvious that it’d be in the best interest of the family to seek some sort of marriage counseling and work this out.
I think she should get half of what he made while they were married. What he made before they were married should be his own money.
They must have had a pre-nup and if they didn’t, then Elin should get all of it as punishment for Tigers stupidity.
Your all focused on the money and who gets what but what about the basic principals of marriage. Why if Tiger is a sex addict did he ask Elin to marry him at all? He pursued her as I have heard. Elin did not pursue him or his money. So if they were having problems and were both unhappy why is it right for him to cheat? If he was unhappy why didn’t he get the help or end the marriage.Did she cheat no. She stayed in the backround having his kids, taking care of them while he was away earning money but yet only being responsible for himself. She deserves money but it’s really none of our business on how much. Has anyone thought about how truly hurt she is. How about all the potential diseases he has exposed her and his kids too. There are just way to many factors here to judge.

Do you have kids? Have you ever had an emotional outburst or have been so fed up you just explode? PS, she was a nanny and a model not a housekeeper. Get it right.
By the way I don’t see Elin claiming she’s a victim here it’s the media. Leave her alone and let her raise her kids without the paparazzi.
It’s kind of a shame that Tiger learned this behavior from his father and both his parents let him think it’s acceptable. It’s apparent his father did not believe in fair and equal rights.
How many young men will now walk away thinking that just becasue you are talented in a sport it gives you the right to do whatever you want without any consequences?
Tiger’s consequence will be that he has to support Elin and their kids for as long as agreed prenup or not.
