Ryan found this blog post about the National Single Cougar’s Convention, and brought it up to the rest of The Morning Mash Up. While Nicole and Stanley T thought it was interesting, Rich thought is was ridiculous. He believes there is no such thing as a cougar. There is no such thing as an attractive older woman, in comparison with a younger woman.Rich doesn’t get why would a guy want to date a woman older than he is?
Nicole, obviously, has a problem with his view. She says there are plenty of good looking, hot older women. Examples: Demi Moore, Jennifer Aniston, Vanessa Williams, Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta Jones, Vivica Fox, and the list goes on. Stanley T agrees with Nicole, that there are plenty of women that age beautifully and look extremely good for their age. Ryan, surprisingly, agrees with Rich. He doesn’t find older women attractive.

I have a HUGE opinion on this subject. I am 42 and my husband is 21. We have been together for 2 years. He left his gf that was 18 for me. He definately wears the pants in this relationship. SO NO its not about control. Its completely about maturity. He is more mature than men I have dated my own age and older. So I am completely offended by Rich’s comment that women are old and wrinkled at age 40. I myself do NOT have grey hair and not one wrinkle anywhere.
Young hotties are great but just not too mature sometimes. Besides, what guy wouldn’t want some woman after him who only wants him for sex. Quite often, I think they are more fun anyways because they want to feel younger and have fun.

I am a 43 yr. old woman, I have both guy and girl friends that tell me I am hot. But I have no interest in 20 something guys ~ too immature.
I am a good looking young 41 year old woman, thin, long blonde hair ect…. I have always looked younger than I am.. apparently look around 35. I can tell you if I was single, I would worship things on a man that the typical 20 year old would not love yet. I know how to take care of myself in bed as well. Most women in thier 20′s are shy and have no experience. I would have a blast!! And so would the guy!!
I’m 38 and single. I’ve found most younger guys appreciate all aspects of a cougar. Older guys like the young girls because it’s a guy thing but if they want a real relationship or at least a real good treat they know where to go! I’ve been told by my young guy friends they like the outgoingness of cougars. Cougars know what they want and how to get it! Yeah babe, we do!

Im not in any way a cougar but I am 47 and a real offense to the OLD WOMEN comments. Anyway I dont see the cougar thing,why would a mature women want to be with a v ery imature guy(most young guys are imature}. I would be sooo creeped out if my mom came home with some young guy,of course she is 80 and well thats night right. So Rich when you get this age and your beer beely is out and your hair is receding, have fun! I still have my hair great abs still in size 6 clothes!!! Oh and no cosmetic work.
Totally offended by Rich’s comment. If he kept to the topic it would’ve been fine. His personal opinion on 40 year old women were MORE than insulting. He was so hurtful and nasty! Was that really necessary? I’m done with hits 1….JACK ASS!

I guess I am somewhat of a cougar myself. I am 29 and soon to be the dreaded 30 this year and my boyfriend turned 20 this year. Not a huge age difference but our friends like to joke about it. He has told me that he will never regret getting with an older woman. I have a house, a car, I am independent, and I satisfy his needs.
I think it is a sex drive thing. I am 38 and the guys my age are starting to slow down. The guys around ten years younger for some reason cannot tell how old women are when they are attracted to those women. And they are still on the prowl. It is a very strange phenom. but I am noticing it is real.
Personally i love older women, I appeciate everything about them. Maybe its their motherly qualities and they know how to take care of a man mentally and physically. They know what they want and don’t play hard to get like younger girls. oh did i mention they are way sexier?!
Personally i think that cougars(mature single sexy women) are the best! they are attractive, generally take good care of themselves, are out going, friendly, and are very confident. they are experienced and know what they want, and how to get it. i think they like to be chased especially by younger men because it shows that they still have it. infact i have been with a few recently and i like them more than the young immature girls my age. i’m 25.
