Are There Etiquette Rules To A Free Food Spread?

How Much Is Too Much Free Food?

Nicole and Stan were at the screening of Michael Jackson’s movie “This Is It,” and there was a little buffet set up. Nicole and Stan each got a little something to eat but there was this one guy that went up at least 6 times. Nicole thought this was a bit much. It’s free food but you need to limit yourself. Rich doesn’t agree. It’s free food, you can get as much as you want.

When Rich goes to the free buffet in Las Vegas, he goes up at least four times. Ryan completely agrees. He’s all about the free samples at stores like Cosco, Sam’s Club, or BJ’s. Stan reminds Nicole that when they go get lunch at a certain deli, they always ask to sample the soup even though they don’t plan on getting any soup. What are your rules when it comes to free samples? Are you allowed to take as much as you want or is there a limit?
